Our studentship follows the standard EPSRC levels (covering tuition fees and a tax-free maintenance grant of £14,296 per year). Studentship rates are likely to increase slightly for subsequent years in line with EPSRC guidance. The usual support for conference attendance and other travel, and various training activities is provided. The training centre also provides a laptop and a personal workstation to every student, and has access to local and national high performance computing facilities (see facilities for more details).
